This book is extremely close to a word-by-word transcription of Imam Anwar al-Awlakiâs lecture.

 I have chosen to take out or add a few words â and not more than that â to smoothen the flow for the reader. Iâve also added many footnotes along the way to explain words, sentences, backgrounds, and adding daleel to what the speaker is saying.

As you know and will find out in greater detail that this subject is one of extreme importance; so the footnotes, I felt, were absolutely necessary to further expand on the words of the speaker.Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki was born in New Mexico, USA.

He studied the Islamic sciences of Quran, hadith, and fiqh with scholars from Yemen. Imam Anwar served as an Imam in Denver, Colorado; San Diego, Callifornia; and Falls Church, Virginia. He is the author of the audio series on âThe Lives of the Prophetsâ, âThe Hereafterâ, âThe Life and Time of Abu Bakrâ, âThe Life and Time of Umarâ , âThe Messenger of Allahâ along with other single lectures
