OGod, love whoever loves him and be the enemy of his enemy. ll(AIHakim adds:) “This hadith is sahih in accordance with theconditions of sihhah laid down by the Shaykhayn (alBukhariand Muslim), although they have not recorded it in its fulllength. II(AIHakim says:) The first tradition (mentioned above) is sup-ported by this one narrated by Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from AbualTufayl, which is also sahih according to the requirements ofalBukhari and Muslim. laj ibn Ahmad alSijzi, both of them from Muhammad ibnAyyub, from allAzraq ibn N Ali, from Hassan ibn Ibrahim alKir-mani, from Muhammad ibn Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from his fath-er, from Abu al-Tufayl, from Ibn Wathilah that he heard Zaydibn Arqam, may God be pleased with him, say: “The Messengerof Allah , may Allah Is peace and benedictions be upon him andhis progeny, came down at a place between Makkah and Madi-nah near the trees with five big shades and the people sweptthe ground under the trees. hen the Messenger of Allah , may Godls peace and benedic-tion be upon him and his progeny, began to perform the even-ing prayer.
