As Divine religions, Islam and Christianity have much in common as the One and Same Sender reveal them; ALLAH, the Almighty.  As a matter of fact, both Muhammad and Jesus (pbut) are great Divine Prophets, each of them spoke honestly and friendly of the other. Jesus gave glad tidings of Muhammad’s coming as he said:  “_ [have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot  bear them now.

 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is  come, he will guide you into all truth.” (John 16:12.13) 

Muhammad (pbuh), on his part, considered belief in Jesus’ Prophethood a prerequisite for a full and perfect Faith. As the Glorious Qur’an says:
