Kloran Of The KKK
The Ku Klux Klan’s guidebook is known as the Kloran.
The Kloran usually includes thorough descriptions of the roles of various Klan members, as well as information on Klan ceremonies and procedures.
To indicate a Klan affiliation, the initials Kl were frequently employed at the beginning of words.
Kloran, Klonversation (discussion), Klavern (local branch or meeting place), Klavaliers, and so on are examples.
This was not the case with the Reconstruction Ku Klux Klan; just a small portion of the Reconstruction Klan’s vocabulary was carried over, and it largely consisted of titles for high-ranking members of the organization.
An “Exalted Cyclops,” for example, was the leader of a single Klavern.
