There are numerous memorable instances of the great scholars, my father or Shaykh Ghudayyan who died yesterday and his funeral prayer will be performed upon him today.

I beseech Allah to forgive him and all the Muslim scholars and the Muslims and believers, dead or alive.

The life of the scholars is full of lessons and admonitions which are fruitful for successful men, and they have beneficial knowledge based upon the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

However, I’d like to speak about my father, Shaykh Abdul Muhsin.

 In the past few days, he finished explaining Sunan lbn Majah in the daily lesson in the Prophetic Masjid. He started explaining the Six Books of the Sunnah in early Muharram 1406 in every day except Thursday, after Al-Maghrib.

He stopped teaching during the holidays. It took him twenty-six years to finish teaching and explaining the Six Books in the Prophetic Masjid.

May Allah accept his righteous good deeds and guide us to the beneficial knowledge and the righteous good deeds and guide us to the Straight Way.
