The Book of instruction on the elements of the art of astrology by al-Biruni 1934
Al Biruni, one of the finest Arab intellectuals, was born in what is now Uzbekistan on September 4, 973.
He was gifted from an early age, and by his early twenties, he had published numerous praised studies.
In his twenties and thirties, he lived in Gurgan, on the Caspian Sea’s coasts, due to political upheaval.
Ghaznah, which is now in Afghanistan, was where he found peace.
He traveled extensively in India from 1017 to 1030, becoming fluent in Sanskrit. He based his massive assessment of the subcontinent’s history, customs, and beliefs on this.
The Chronology of Ancient Nations, the Masudic Cannon, Book of Instructions, and more than 100 additional writings, some of which are lost, are among his other works.
He died at the age of 75 on December 13, 1048. Ghaznah is where he is buried.
Lady Rayhanah is the recipient of the Book of Instruction in the Elements of the Art of Astrology, which was authored for her.
The translator, R. Ramsay Wright, believes it could be used as a primer on 11th century science.
