Beneficial speech in establishing the evidences of Islamic monotheism – Book Sample

Foreword Beneficial speech in establishing the evidences of Islamic monotheism

All Praise is due to Allaah. May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon His Messenger, upon his family and upon his Companions. I bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. To proceed:

I examined the treatise of the brother Abu Ibraheem Muhammad bin ‘.Abdul Wahaab Al-Wasaabee entitled“Al-qwl-ul-Mufeed Fee Adillatit Tawheed’ and after careful study I praise Allaah, the One free from all imperfections, since He produced from our Yemeni scholars someone who establishes what Allaah has obligated upon him from the spreading of Tawheed in our Yemeni society which was praised by the Prophet in his saying, ”Belief is Yemenite, and wisdom is also Yemenite”1 (i.e. the Yemenites are well-known for their true belief and wisdom).

The Prophet also supplicated for Yemen in his saying, “Oh Allaah bless us in our Shaam and in our Yemen.” He said this three times and after every time the people of Najd said, ‘and in our Najd, Oh Messenger of Allaah’ He said, “Earthquakes and tribulations (fitnah) are there and from there will rise the horn of Shaytaan.“2

Evidences of Tauheed

And We have placed over their heart’s coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And when you mention your Lord alone in the Qur’an, they turn back in aversion. (Surah al-Israh 46)

And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice. (Surah al-Zumarah 45)
