“face2face” is a general English course for adults and young adults aiming to develop effective communication skills in today’s world. It follows a communicative approach, incorporating the latest teaching methodologies and innovative features to facilitate learning and teaching. The course places equal emphasis on vocabulary and grammar, with a particular focus on listening and speaking in social contexts.

Aligned with The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, face2face offers regular opportunities for students to assess their progress. The Elementary level of the course covers A1 and progresses students to level A2.

The Student’s Book contains approximately 80 hours of core teaching material, which can be expanded to 120 hours using additional resources and ideas provided in the Teacher’s Book. Each self-contained lesson spans two pages and can be easily taught without extensive preparation.

The free DVD-ROM in the Student’s Book includes consolidation activities and an electronic portfolio for learners to track their progress with customizable tests and grammar and vocabulary reference sections.

Excellent book – modern and up to date, excellently laid out and engaging, hardly noticing the varying skills and grammar that is being built up because it’s so engaging. It makes conversations natural, getting the student to talk without awkwardness. The only annoying thing is that audio CDs don’t come with this book.
