Musnad Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal is one of the greatest hadith books written in the Islamic paradigm, including over 27,000 hadiths.

 and some of them mentioned that it contains the authentic and the weak that are close to al-Hasan, and there is no fabrication in it like Ibn Taymiyyah, al-Dhahabi, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, and Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti. Also, Abu Bakr al-Qutay’i, narrated it on the authority of Abdullah, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ziyadat, on the authority of other than Abdullah and his father.

Ibn Hanbal finished composing the Musnad in approximately 227 A.H. or 228 A.H., where Al-Dhahabi mentioned in the Biography of the Nobles that Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Hanbal heard the Musnad from his father in these two years.

Ahmed collected a lengthy material from his sheiks during his stay in Baghdad, and his trips to the Levant, Yemen, and the Hijaz, until he collected more than seven hundred thousand hadiths as he told, and this includes the transmitted, the suspended, and others.

Ahmad was collecting the Musnad and writing it in single papers and divided into individual parts, as the draft is, and before his death, he took the initiative to listen to it for his children and the people of his household, and he died before revising and refining it, so it remained as it is, then his son Abdullah joined him with what was similar to him, and included in his audiobooks what It is similar to him, so Al-Qatai’i heard from his books the current version, and many hadiths remained in the papers
